Pillow Plate Laser Welding Machines

Keppels designs and builds complete pillow plate laser welding machines for the professional production of pillow plates and dimple jackets. Our systems are used worldwide for the manufacture of heat exchanger plates for tanks, vessels, ice banks, falling film chillers and other industrial applications.

Every machine is delivered as a complete production system: mechanical design, fiber laser, CNC control, software, safety cabin and the process know-how required to produce high-quality pillow plates from day one.

Single Head and Dual Head Technology

We supply two main configurations:

  • Single head machines – Ideal for flexible production and medium volumes
  • Dual head machines – Two laser welding heads working simultaneously, delivering up to approximately 40% higher production output

Both versions are available in working widths of 1500 mm and 2000 mm (K1500 and K2000 series).
